Where To Stay
We haven't booked a hotel block, so everyone is free to book wherever suits them. Here are a few options near the venue.
If you'd like to stay at the venue, book early. It's a small resort with limited rooms, and early December is a busy time in Kathmandu.
Grand Norling Hotel's Resort
Stay where the party is! A peaceful resort on the edge of the Gokarna forest, with gardens, a pool and mountain views. A short drive from the airport.
Boudha area
About 10–15 minutes from the venue, with plenty of places to eat and wander. Options for every budget, from the Hyatt Regency Kathmandu to small guesthouses.
Thamel (central Kathmandu)
The lively tourist hub, with heaps of restaurants, shops and cheap accommodation. It's a longer drive to the venue, so allow 45+ minutes in traffic.
Staying away from the venue? Allow plenty of time to get there on the day, since Kathmandu traffic is unpredictable. Ask your hotel to book a taxi for you in advance.
